A Guide to God and Mental Health Resources

written by Laura L. Smith

Happy February!

I love this short month filled with history and hearts, but winter is dark and cold and seasonal affective disorder is a real thing causing many of us to experience some fatigue, depression, social withdrawal, and an overall sadness. But there is hope. And His names is Jesus. He is the light of the world and He longs for us to bask in the warmth of His love. How do we tap into Christ’s light and love when we’re shivering and skies are gray?

Since 5 Minute Devotions for Teens: A Guide to God and Mental Health released I’ve been blessed to have incredible conversations with some amazing people and write some articles about tips and tricks to care for our mental health (and the mental health of our teens), ways caring for our mental health is Biblical, and how very much Jesus loves us all. I’m attaching these conversations and articles here in hopes that one (or all) of these podcasts or articles reminds you today how much you matter to Jesus. Click on each image to listen or read and be reminded that Christ’s light is powerful enough to shine through any cold winter day.
